Pollution 'has made Covid-19 deadlier': 100,000 deaths worldwide 'could have been avoided'
An international team of scientists estimate 15% of Covid-19 deaths may be linked with pollution. In the UK, the figure is 14 per cent, which means nearly 6,300 deaths could have been avoided.
